Description

  • Processes weekly payroll and off cycle payroll.
  • Performs validations on weekly payroll to ensure payroll costs by person are reasonable.
  • Provides data relevant to union reporting.
  • Maintains master payroll records and direct deposit files.
  • Answers employee questions about paychecks, deductions, or time-off accruals.
  • Processes wage attachments.
  • Scans daily mail and email to appropriate person for review and processing (tax, union, garnishments, etc.).
  • Reviews payroll inbox and either action or assign email.
  • Resolves issues and process corrections related to overpayments, underpayments, or tax withholding errors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience


Employment Conditions

1 year of experience in payroll, accounting, or related field


Physical Requirements

Corporate or Area office (No project/site expectations)
