Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic is a reputable outpatient orthopedic clinic located in the beautiful city of Punta Gorda, nestled along Florida's stunning Gulf Coast. Our facility spans 5000 square feet and is designed to create a supportive and engaging environment for both patients and staff. We pride ourselves on our patient-centric approach, primarily serving individuals covered by private medical insurance. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, comprised of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), strives to deliver exceptional care tailored to meet the unique needs of our patient community.

Work Environment

This full-time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. The therapy sessions occur onsite in our outpatient office, ensuring direct interaction with patients and fostering a collaborative atmosphere among the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and needs, efficiently creating individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
  • Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to offer evidence-based, cost-effective treatments that improve patients' motion and mobility.
  • Implement care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, focusing on reducing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
  • Design and administer fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific needs of each patient.
  • Document all services provided and patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a supportive environment that promotes health and well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic, you will primarily work with clients who have various orthopedic conditions. Your role will involve enhancing mobility, relieving pain, and restoring function for patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. By focusing on personalized treatment programs, you will play a crucial role in transforming patients' lives and helping them achieve their fitness goals.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
  • Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no recorded board actions or disciplinary measures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
  • Experience utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and treatment planning.
Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required. Familiarity with diverse patient populations and treatment modalities will be advantageous.
