Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead physical therapist in delivering patient care services, including conducting therapy sessions designed specifically for children.
  • Implement therapy techniques and exercises as prescribed by the physical therapist, ensuring each intervention is tailored to meet individual patient needs.
  • Monitor and document patient progress diligently, reporting any changes or noteworthy developments to the physical therapist in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients and their families about continued care practices and home exercises essential for optimizing recovery.
  • Regularly participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, contribute ideas on treatment plans, and share insights on patient progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches for interventions and keep abreast of the latest research and treatment methodologies in pediatric physical therapy.
  • Deliver compassionate care to enhance the therapeutic experience for children and support their mental and emotional well-being throughout their recovery process.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment for optimal patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents, who may be facing various challenges such as post-surgical rehabilitation, developmental delays, or physical disabilities. Qualifications
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric care is essential for this role.
  • An up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license is required to practice in the state of Colorado.
  • Excellent communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • A strong ability to multitask and manage clinic responsibilities effectively is necessary.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to patient care are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
