KeystoneCare is seeking a compassionate and experienced physician to serve as an Associate Palliative Care Medical Director. This role provides clinical leadership and oversight for our growing palliative care program, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across various settings.

This position offers flexibility and may be structured as either full-time or part-time based on candidate availability.

Requirements

  • Provide medical oversight and clinical guidance for the palliative care program
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, social work, chaplaincy, etc.) to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Conduct patient evaluations and ongoing clinical management for palliative care patients
  • Support symptom management, advance care planning, and goals-of-care discussions
  • Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide education and mentorship to clinical staff
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, hospitals, and community partners

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with a current, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
  • Board certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (preferred) or relevant experience in palliative care, hospice, oncology, or internal medicine
  • DEA registration (active and in good standing)
  • Minimum of 2โ€“3 years of clinical experience (palliative or hospice preferred)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
