Work Environment

This position provides the unique opportunity to work in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexible scheduling and a focus on achieving work-life balance. While primarily remote, there may be occasional in-person sessions based on client needs or personal preferences. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized evidence-based therapeutic services to clients, including but not limited to individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to understand client backgrounds, needs, and challenges, and develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with Maryland state laws and Key Well Counseling's operational guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other community organizations to optimize client care and support.
• Participate in regular clinical team meetings, supervision, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and support team objectives.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them to vital social services and auxiliary support systems to ensure holistic treatment.
• Adhere to the ethical standards delineated by the NASW Code of Ethics and uphold the regulatory expectations of the Maryland Social Work Board.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and significant life transitions. The diversity of our client base is a cornerstone of our practice; therefore, understanding and effectively engaging with a range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds will be essential. You will work closely with youth and adult clients, ensuring they receive the support they need to foster resilience and achieve positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) license in the State of Maryland.
• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• At least two years of clinical experience in the social work field is mandatory, with a preference shown for candidates who have worked with youth or trauma survivors.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid understanding of documentation standards is necessary for this role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client engagement and team collaboration.
• A strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and the principles of trauma-informed care is required to align with our organizational values.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in working with specific populations such as adolescents, trauma survivors, or those dealing with complex emotional challenges will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with group therapy dynamics and involvement in community outreach initiatives is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Key Well Counseling offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, the organization provides:
