Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility, where you will be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient well-being. The full-time work schedule typically ranges around 40 hours per week, with clinic hours running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, duties may include on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis, ensuring that our patients receive 24/7 care for any emergency situations that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients presenting with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
  • Diagnose conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients regarding their health status and care options.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies and lab results, to ensure appropriate patient management.
  • Provide education and guided counseling to patients and their families about treatment protocols, lifestyle changes, and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and members of the healthcare team to deliver integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in ENT medicine and associated healthcare practices through ongoing research and participation in continued education.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an ENT Physician Assistant at Kaweah Healthcare, you will cater to a diverse patient population, addressing various otolaryngology-related concerns. This population may include individuals of all ages, from pediatric patients requiring ear tube placements to adults facing complex sinus surgeries. Your role will be vital in improving their quality of life through effective diagnosis and personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a current Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, equipping you with foundational medical training and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a clinical setting.
  • Proficient team player capable of working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient care within the field of otolaryngology or a related specialty.

Compensation and Benefits
