Clayton Legal are proud to be currently working with a top-tier global law firm that is looking to strengthen its Miami office with the appointment of an experienced Real Estate Associate.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 2-8 years' experience at a top-tier firm to join a sophisticated Real Estate practice, working on complex, high-value commercial real estate transactions.

The Role

The successful candidate will have substantial experience advising on commercial real estate debt financing transactions, with exposure to a broad range of sophisticated financing structures.

Your experience will ideally include:

  • Mortgage and mezzanine financings
  • Preferred equity investments
  • Permanent and bridge loan originations
  • Construction loans
  • Loan participations and syndications, including loan sales
  • Co-lender and intercreditor arrangements
  • Workouts and restructurings

You’ll work alongside highly regarded attorneys and sophisticated clients on complex transactions within a market-leading Real Estate practice.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-8 years' experience at a top-tier law firm
  • Strong experience in commercial real estate debt finance
  • Meaningful transactional experience across a range of real estate financing structures
  • Outstanding academic and professional credentials
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
  • The ability to thrive within a sophisticated, high-performing legal environment
