Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor for our Injection Molding department at our facility in Elgin, IL, 60124. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient operation of our injection molding processes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of machine operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to address any product defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
  • Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes and machinery.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using computer software for production tracking and reporting.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

You should be proficient in:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Injection Molding Experience
  • Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
