Position Title
Clinical Operations Coordinator
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager, this position will coordinate the functions of, and provide advanced clerical and operational support to departments as assigned. Develops, researches, participates in, and leads projects to meet the needs of the department. Provides advanced computer applications to support the varied work responsibilities within the assigned departments. Applies critical thinking tasks and responsibilities.
The Clinical Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Staffing Office to include bed timekeeping, staffing, bed placement, and patient flow. The Clinical Operations Coordinator should be able to act independently on routine matters while escalating concerns to the Clinical Operations Manager/Administrative Supervisor or Senior Director as necessary based on clinical complexities
Education:
Associate's degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) years clinical experience is required.
One (1) year of experience each in with healthcare finance and healthcare materials management is preferred.
Advanced computer skills are preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
None required
