  • Own purchasing & procurement: Manage sourcing for direct and indirect materials; build supplier relationships around quality, cost, delivery, and service; negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements; drive cost reduction and manage supplier risk; support sourcing for new product launches and engineering changes.
  • Oversee logistics & material handling: Manage inbound/outbound logistics, receiving, storage, and shipping; improve warehouse organization, material flow, and inventory accuracy; coordinate freight and transportation providers.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Support Lean initiatives facility-wide; track KPIs including supplier on-time delivery, inventory accuracy and turns, material availability, freight cost, supplier quality, and on-time shipment performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Align priorities with Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, and Finance; support new product launches and capacity/sourcing planning; contribute to corporate supply chain initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance: Ensure adherence to company policy, safety standards, and regulations; maintain accurate data and system integrity in ERP/MRP systems.

What You Bring

  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, including purchasing, supplier management, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Prior leadership experience with direct reports; experience supporting new product introductions and production ramp-ups.
  • ERP/MRP experience (JD Edwards a plus); APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in heavy equipment, industrial equipment, automotive, agricultural, or similar manufacturing industries preferred.
