Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and mental health status.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients navigate issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their progress and changing needs.
  • Involve and advise family members when appropriate, recognizing the integral role of family dynamics in healing.
  • Regularly conduct assessments of client progress, documenting outcomes and necessary recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and uphold the highest standards of client confidentiality throughout your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues. As a therapist, you will work closely with clients from all walks of life, often tackling complex situations involving trauma, anxiety, and relational challenges. Your compassionate approach will empower your clients, especially young women, to reach their fullest potential and build healthier relationships.

Qualifications
  • A master's degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field is required.
  • An active Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license is essential for this role.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems is desired.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical for effective client engagement.
  • A strong commitment and passion for mental health advocacy and the empowerment of clients, particularly young women.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health setting is preferred, showcasing adaptability to diverse client needs.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices is an advantage.
