Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic strategies tailored to clients' unique backgrounds and mental health challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to individuals, couples, and families.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation, in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in workshops, webinars, and training sessions related to advances in mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses on serving diverse populations, particularly those from underserved communities in Baltimore, Maryland, who may experience limited access to mental health resources. We address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth technology.

Preferred Experience
