Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach to each unique case.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, drawing on a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software to streamline process management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops and training sessions, to enhance your skills and stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, many of whom face barriers to accessing traditional mental health resources. We address a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. As an LPC at Insightful Futures Counseling, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, providing impactful support to those who need it most.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting, demonstrating competence in delivering therapeutic services.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with clients and establish strong therapeutic relationships.
• Proficient in using EMR software and related technology to manage client records and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working within a collaborative healthcare setting, contributing to a team-oriented approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
