Insight Family Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of your patients.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication among team members, including supervisors, direct care staff, and family members, to promote comprehensive care plans.
  • Document therapy sessions meticulously, including monthly and quarterly progress notes to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care management.
  • Organize and coordinate necessary in-home visits, which include behavioral observations and interviews to comprehensively evaluate ongoing client needs.
  • Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings where you will share insights and collaborate on the treatment journey of patients.
  • Provide educational workshops and training sessions for staff to enhance their competency in executing therapy plans and documentation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records that are accessible to relevant stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Build and nurture professional relationships with the mental health community to advance program goals and client support initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in our organization, you will work with a diverse range of clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your experience and expertise will directly influence our mission to provide personalized support tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a comparable field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, specifically within a clinical context.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and relevant technologies is essential for documentation and session management.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-related therapy, or substance misuse treatment is highly desired.
  • Prior experience working in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is an asset.
  • A proven track record of teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Compensation and Benefits
