Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting that utilizes telehealth technologies, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while reaching clients across various geographical locations. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to determine clients' mental health status and needs, utilizing a comprehensive approach that respects individual circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Facilitating regular therapy sessions via telehealth, providing clients with coping strategies and therapeutic techniques to support their recovery.

• Monitoring client progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary, ensuring each client feels supported throughout their mental health journey.

• Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when referrals to additional resources are needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse clientele includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, requiring a culturally responsive approach. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and respect for individual experiences while delivering care. The flexibility of telehealth allows you to connect with clients who may otherwise face barriers to accessing mental health services.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid mental health license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Washington.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, combined with a commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with diverse clients.

• A thorough proficiency in electronic health record systems and a strong comfort level with virtual counseling tools.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required for this role, candidates with at least two years of relevant clinical experience will be given preference. Additionally, experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions, as well as strong crisis intervention skills, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits
