We serve a diverse population, integrating physical and mental health care to address the holistic needs of our clients. Our commitment to excellence in mental health care is reflected in our comprehensive services, community outreach, and our focus on clinical research to improve treatment methodologies. By joining our team, you will be part of a marked initiative to enhance mental health support in Chicago and beyond.

Work Environment

This position will be conducted in a fully remote capacity, offering flexibility while allowing you to concentrate on providing clinically sound therapy. The Inner Radiance Hub fosters a collaborative team environment, encouraging communication and knowledge sharing among healthcare professionals. Frequent video conferencing and virtual team meetings will facilitate ongoing support and professional interaction. Our commitment to a healthy work-life balance means you can focus on your client's needs while also taking care of your own.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms associated with mood disorders.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver impactful interventions.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote recovery.
  • Monitor and appraise client progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure optimal, integrated care for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and treatment techniques in mental health therapy.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation practices, adhering to legal and ethical standards to ensure client confidentiality and care continuity.
  • Participate in case consultations and professional development workshops to enhance clinical skills and team cohesion.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and work to reduce stigma associated with mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base includes vulnerable populations, including the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. The therapist's role is critical in enabling these individuals to navigate their challenges and improve their quality of life, making each session a meaningful opportunity to foster hope and coping skills.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish trusting therapeutic relationships.
  • Ability to exhibit empathy and maintain a nonjudgmental stance towards diverse client experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and adeptness at managing multiple workloads and administrative tasks efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or with underserved populations.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and cultural competence in therapy delivery.
  • Proven track record of developing effective treatment plans and interventions for clients with mood disorders.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, contingent on qualifications and experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
  • Continuous learning opportunities with access to workshops, seminars, and training in addiction counseling and advanced therapeutic techniques.
  • A supportive work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and professional growth.
