Inner Peace Oasis is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are aligned with clients' goals, incorporating therapeutic modalities that suit individual needs, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Provide regular individual therapy sessions for adult clients, employing evidence-based practices to encourage positive behavioral changes and improve mental health outcomes.
• Utilize teletherapy to deliver accessible care, ensuring clients can attend sessions from their preferred environments while maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance.
• Respond to crisis situations by providing urgent intervention services, using your expertise to guide clients through critical emotional challenges.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and keep abreast of the latest mental health standards and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By utilizing strength-based and person-centered approaches, you will work to empower clients in their healing journeys, fostering resilience and personal growth. Our client community is diverse, and you will have the opportunity to make significant impacts across various backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• A current and valid licensure in Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and develop trustful relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Exhibit empathy and a non-judgmental attitude in supporting clients through their mental health challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage client caseloads efficiently.
• A clean disciplinary record with the licensing board.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as you will be utilizing virtual platforms for client sessions.
• Background in evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based approaches.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or education initiatives related to mental health awareness.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, based on your experience and caseload.
