Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual client goals and therapeutic progress.
• Provide a variety of counseling services, including individual, couples, and group therapy, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Inner Light Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse population, addressing an array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction. You will support clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique situations and facilitate their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy within a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance client outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for establishing rapport with clients and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to accurately document client interactions and progress.
• Commitment to ethical principles and a deep respect for client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth environment, comfortable utilizing digital platforms for counseling.
• Knowledge of and experience with specialized treatment approaches for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma recovery.
• Skills in collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 50,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
