Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and formulate effective individualized treatment plans based on their specific challenges.
  • Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each client's circumstances, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth, emotional healing, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, track their progress, and adapt treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Offer teletherapy services, enabling clients with mobility challenges or those preferring virtual sessions to access essential care in a convenient manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation to uphold ethical standards and comply with best practices in mental health care.
  • Engage actively in ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health therapy practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an LMFT at Inner Care Health Center will involve working with a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. You will play a critical role in promoting healing and stability in the lives of our clients, guiding them through their mental health issues with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, demonstrating a solid theoretical foundation in mental health.
  • Proficiency in establishing a therapeutic relationship characterized by trust, empathy, and open communication to facilitate client engagement and progress.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster a supportive environment, coupled with a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' backgrounds and experiences.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to manage caseloads, ensuring every client receives consistent and quality care.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting providing therapy services to various client demographics, especially individuals and families facing distressing life circumstances.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care approaches.
  • Experience in working with clients dealing with substance use issues, with training or certification in addiction treatment being viewed positively.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
