Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments that consider the unique psychological and social needs of each client.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's situation.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and supportive therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including geriatric psychiatrists and medical professionals, to provide holistic care to your clients.
• Guide clients and their families through the complexities of mental health conditions by educating them about treatment options and community resources.
• Document patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on older adults experiencing a variety of mental health disorders. You will provide care for clients facing geriatric psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, and adjustments related to aging. Your empathy-driven approach will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their emotional and psychological well-being, contributing positively to their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• A strong understanding of geriatric mental health issues and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven skill in delivering both individual and family therapy focusing on the elderly population.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for creating trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in dealing with complex mental health cases involving older adults, specifically addressing issues like dementia, late-life depression, and anxiety disorders.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies used for remote therapy, including virtual meeting platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Participation in interdisciplinary teams or experience working collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

Infinity Care Plus Inc offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package.
