Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at InStride Health Associates, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify mental health disorders, establishing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients based on their specific needs and goals.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions to address a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma.
• Tracking client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes, while maintaining comprehensive documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Holding sessions in a confidential, supportive atmosphere, encouraging open dialogue and trust between you and your clients.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan that benefits the overall treatment of clients, including referrals to other specialists or services when necessary.
• Acting as an advocate for clients in crisis situations, providing immediate interventions and support to help them navigate challenges effectively.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through supervision, training sessions, and seeking feedback from peers to enhance therapeutic competencies and methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing various life challenges. Our clients may be experiencing relationship difficulties, mental health disorders, transitional life stressors, or seeking pre-marital and family therapy. A strong emphasis is placed on cultural competency and personalized care to effectively address the unique backgrounds, beliefs, and values of each client.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or an equivalent field of study from an accredited institution.
• An active LMFT license in the state of Vermont, free from disciplinary action.
• A profound commitment to ethical practices, maintaining confidentiality, and professional integrity in all client interactions.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and approaches to effectively treat mental health conditions and relationship issues.

Preferred Experience

Along with the essential qualifications, candidates will ideally have:

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant therapeutic setting, preferably with a focus on family systems or relationship therapy.
• Experience and comfort with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery!
• A track record of successful collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to comprehensive, holistic care for clients.

Compensation and Benefits

InStride Health Associates offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits include:
