Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be tasked with the following essential functions:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments that accurately capture the needs of children and families.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that services are tailored to each child's developmental stages.
  • Monitor outcomes by being an engaged member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing children's learning experiences.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to families, equipping them with essential skills and information to foster their child's development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and follow Natural Learning Environment Practices to create effective intervention strategies.
  • Administer evaluations and assessments that adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations to maintain compliance and ensure quality care.
  • Develop strong relationships with children and families, facilitating a healthy and supportive learning environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children from birth to three years old who may have disabilities or delays. You will work directly with these young clients and their families, assisting them in developing crucial physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your expertise will significantly impact their early developmental stages, ensuring that they reach their full potential during this critical period in their lives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work.
  • Licensure by the Department of Public Health is mandatory; LCSW certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interactions with families and team members.
  • A respectful and collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

  • At least one year of experience working specifically with children in early intervention settings.
  • A proven commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, showcasing adaptability to varying learning styles.
