Job description

Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)

Job Summary:

Imagination ABA Therapy, a BCBA-owned and operated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As a BT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized services to children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Implement evidence-based ABA techniques and strategies to promote meaningful skill development, functional communication, independence, and real-world outcomes

  • Collect and record data on client progress and conduct sessions in accordance with company protocols

  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure therapy is practical, respectful, and impactful across settings

  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and mentorship to ensure continued professional growth and development

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental needs desirable

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt to changing client needs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent data collection and recording skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company protocols and policies
