Full-time Maintenance Technician needed for a company just 30 minutes outside of Chicago. 1 year of experience. Familiarity with plating processes and DC currents, Experience performing electrical work in an industrial or manufacturing environment. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual with a strong electrical aptitude who is eager to learn and grow. Summary: Sets up and operates variety of machine and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair machine and maintain industrial machines and facilities by performing the following duties. To accurately and timely produce all work as assigned by supervision. Good work attendance, Project management skills, mechanically inclined with basic electrical experience. Promote the products and services offered by HHC, Inc. through daily quality production of all HHC, Inc. Promote good working relationships and teamwork with all employees. High school diploma or GED required, Vocational/Technical Education preferred, minimum of two years related industrial/electrical experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience. Nature & Scope of Position: Follows established paperwork procedures to establish, maintain, track and complete jobs. Assures accuracy, timely completion of work as directed and information listed on job cards or work orders. Determine best possible maintenance practices and uses good techniques and judgments in work assignments. Report issues of a reportable nature to supervisors immediately. Trains and monitors new employees as requested. Observes facilities, machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair. Dismantles or constructs facilities, machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part. Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock. Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction. Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment. Uses welding skills as needed. Performs all preventative maintenance. Perform and complete electrical work and assignments with or without electrical drawings. Running electrical circuits, bending conduit, wiring into breaker boxes and switch gear. Running and bending copper to connect rectifiers. Conduct preventive/ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting on rectifiers. Compliance with all Arc Flash standards. Other tasks as assigned.
