Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from home within a flexible telehealth framework. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, utilizing proven evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand clients’ mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the client.
• Facilitate effective therapy sessions that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities.
• Document client progress meticulously, ensuring all records and interventions are up-to-date and compliant with industry regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a broad range of clients, including adults and families dealing with complexities such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health issues. You’ll aim to cultivate a trusting therapeutic relationship that fosters openness and resilience, adapting your approach to meet the diverse cultural backgrounds and needs of each client.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Active licensure in Washington State as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW or equivalent credential is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with individuals from various backgrounds.
• A service-oriented mindset with a commitment to the improvement of client well-being.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in telehealth services or virtual counseling environments is an advantage.
• Previous involvement with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care is beneficial.
• Familiarity with managing a caseload and diverse therapeutic methodologies.
