Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, collecting detailed client histories to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff—to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment interventions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and innovations in mental health counseling to continuously improve the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, so cultural competence and sensitivity are essential in providing effective care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• An active state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent is mandatory to practice as a mental health counselor.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and tackling a variety of mental health issues is essential.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and facilitate engaging therapy sessions.
• Ability to work independently while being an active participant in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Background in crisis intervention and management, particularly in telehealth settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 105,000, based on caseload and experience.
