Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center, which is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and resources designed to promote effective recovery. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony while providing dedicated care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and set specific therapeutic goals to facilitate recovery and improvement in mobility.
  • Maintain an individual patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for personalized attention and treatment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique clinical condition.
  • Deliver cost-effective therapies that emphasize improving range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medication.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process, offering support and guidance to enhance their functionality.
  • Document all patient interactions and therapy sessions accurately in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to share insights and strategies to optimize patient care.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress, adapt treatment strategies, and ensure continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families on wellness and preventive care strategies to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve providing care to a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing tailored fitness and wellness programs that meet each patient's unique clinical needs, motivating them to overcome challenges and achieve their health goals.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree is preferred.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement exercise programs.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for effective documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
  • Evidence of proficiency in customer service skills and an ability to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
  • Experience in developing innovative rehabilitation programs that incorporate the latest evidence-based practices.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous paid time off policy with 10 PTO days for your well-deserved relaxation and rejuvenation.
