Job description

As a Pro Sales Hub Rep- Home Depot, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key Home Depot store associates and managers, and Pro and DIY customers to drive top line sales and Pro penetration results for PPC within Home Depot Brampton North location.

The main job parameters consist of customer relationship building, meeting and exceeding KPI’s, creating growth particularly with Pro customers. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell to DIY and Pro customers
  • Partner with all levels of Home Depot and Store Management Teams and Associates in Paint department and Pro desk, National Account and Commercial Account Managers to drive sales growth plans for PPC
  • Increase Pro customer share, and meet/exceed sales and penetration expectations by building relationships with new Pro customers to increase the potential business opportunities, as well as grow sales with current Pro customers
  • Identify Pro selling opportunities from customer data in Home Depot system, Pro Account Sales Associates (PASAs), customers in-aisle, at paint or Pro desk, National Account Managers and Commercial Account Managers
  • Collaborate with other store departments and associates to prospect and form new relationships with Pro customers in person, by phone or e-mail to generate leads
  • Complete daily phone calls to targeted or managed accounts, and prospective, new and current Pro customers. Resolve incoming inquiries by phone or e-mail from prospective, new, and current Pro customers in a timely manner.
  • Build brand advocates by delivering associate training, and conducting Pro events
  • Plan and conduct weekend and after-hours Pro clinics in designated store
  • Monitor market and competitive activities and leverage to drive Pro sales
  • Analyze store sales performance reports and develop strategic business plans to drive growth utilizing PPCs CRM platform
  • Work closely with the Store’s PPC Territory Manager to align on in-store activities, stock levels and overall Pro initiatives/concerns
  • Communicate and review sales weekly with Home Depot Store Management and PPC Regional Sales Manager
  • On a regular basis, tint, lift and handle paint
  • After customer purchase, work with Home Depot store staff to have order tinted and shipped (when needed)
  • Work cross-functionally with all PPC departments

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in business or similar industry preferred; high school degree required. 3+ years selling experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Coatings experience preferred
    • Be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
