Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Sales Counselor in the Austin area. The selected candidate for Sales Counselor will sell homes in such a manner as to optimize velocity and profitability, and reliably meet all sales goals and the subdivision's business plan. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for profitability, quantity, and quality of sales and contracts in subdivision.
- Must have a good understanding of the Company's product and be able to answer questions pertaining to the building process, financing, area schools, parks/playgrounds, buyer profile for community and any other pertinent information regarding the surrounding community.
- Responsible for in depth understanding and ongoing implementation of the Company's Lead Management System and Lead Management System.
- Must be willing to help support the Construction Team by typing letters, making copies, reproducing house files to send to the appropriate home office.
- Responsible for closing the model at applicable time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years new home sales experience with a residential builder.
- Prior experience working with Realtors and construction.
- Working knowledge of mortgage financing programs and the ability to calculate mortgage payments.
- Ability to analyze numbers and information and produce clear, communicative reports.
- Reliable, clean transportation.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
