Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and resources.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect clients' goals and tailor interventions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated care and optimal client outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for clients in acute distress while developing safety plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation workshops, and support groups to enhance clients' therapeutic journeys.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals seeking support for personal challenges, couples navigating relationship difficulties, and families experiencing transitional trauma. Our clients come from various backgrounds and have different cultural experiences and needs, enabling you to apply your skills across a wide spectrum of cases.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client and team engagement.
  • Proficient assessment and diagnostic skills essential for developing treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience practicing in an outpatient mental health setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapeutic practices.
