Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general guidance of the Security Manager, receives and evaluates incoming emergency and non-emergency calls to Hendrick Security and dispatches Security officers to various locations within Hendrick Health properties. Coordinates communication between multiple agencies and departments. Monitors all surveillance cameras, remaining vigilant to developing situations that may require intervention, and directing officers accordingly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • High school or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

  • 0 to 2 years relevant experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to deal effectively with community, consumers, and hospital personnel
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Requires extreme diplomacy and tact
  • Ability to collect relevant information on calls for service and relay that information to Security officers in the field
  • Operate security electronic equipment including CCTV and access control
  • Handles emergency or crisis situations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch)
