About the Organization

At Help and Hope Behavioral Health, we empower team members to be catalysts for positive change, grounded in our values of compassion, excellence, leadership, innovation, and agility. Our organization is dedicated to providing accessible mental health services within a community health clinic setting, ensuring that our team is equipped with ongoing learning and professional development resources. We prioritize a culture of support and transparency while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, remote position that offers flexibility while fostering a strong sense of teamwork. Although you will be working from home, you will remain closely connected with colleagues and patients through virtual meetings and digital communication tools. Our work environment is designed to encourage collaboration among a multidisciplinary team, integrating various professionals focused on holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, making diagnoses as needed, while utilizing established tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to create personalized treatment plans that embrace cultural diversity and address the specific needs of our patient population.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, applying therapeutic interventions tailored to support individual mental health diagnoses and foster growth.
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, reports, and clinical information using modern technology, adhering to regulatory guidelines and departmental policies.
  • Collaborate with patients and their support systems to develop effective treatment plans, ensuring that goals align with the patient’s desired outcomes and overall care strategy.
  • Engage in proactive communication with other healthcare providers, facilitating referrals and building productive relationships to improve patient access to additional resources and treatments.
  • Provide training and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, sharing your expertise to cultivate a learning environment and enhance team development.
  • Conduct peer-to-peer reviews and contribute to clinical collaboration efforts, such as chart audits and coaching sessions, to support continuous improvement in care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse range of patients, including those from various cultural backgrounds and with differing mental health challenges. You will encounter patients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions, requiring sensitivity and adeptness in addressing their unique needs. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between patients and their mental health resources, playing an essential part in promoting their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, coupled with a current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure, specifically at the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competencies essential for providing effective mental health care to individuals of varying ages, with a keen understanding of human development stages and cultural dynamics.
  • A strong commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care, with a history of maintaining professional boundaries while building trust with patients.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in health or mental health settings, providing direct therapeutic services. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and modern therapeutic techniques will be advantageous, enhancing your ability to engage effectively with patients in a remote setting.
