Job description

Job Summary:
CALIBRE Systems, Inc. is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support our client out of Honolulu, HI, serving as the initial point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting user issues related to hardware and applications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Gather and analyze information about the userโ€™s issue to answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.
โ€ข Provides technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications.
โ€ข Assists with navigating around application menus, may be required to remote into customerโ€™s computer.
โ€ข Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with remote employees on a corporate network.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Prior IT Service Desk operations experience
โ€ข Active SECRET clearance
โ€ข Current Comptia certification
โ€ข Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems
โ€ข Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues, specifically MS Outlook
โ€ข Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
โ€ข Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customerโ€™s issues
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent
โ€ข Must perform well as part of a team under direct supervision
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communications
โ€ข Must have one of the following: Network+, A+ or Security+ Certification
โ€ข Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher
โ€ข Previous computer technical support
โ€ข Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
โ€ข Proficient knowledge and understanding of Service Desk software and hardware technologies
