Job Summary:
CALIBRE Systems, Inc. is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support our client out of Honolulu, HI, serving as the initial point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting user issues related to hardware and applications.
Responsibilities:
โข Gather and analyze information about the userโs issue to answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.
โข Provides technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications.
โข Assists with navigating around application menus, may be required to remote into customerโs computer.
โข Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with remote employees on a corporate network.
Qualifications:
Required:
โข Prior IT Service Desk operations experience
โข Active SECRET clearance
โข Current Comptia certification
โข Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems
โข Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues, specifically MS Outlook
โข Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
โข Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customerโs issues
โข High School Diploma or equivalent
โข Must perform well as part of a team under direct supervision
โข Excellent written and verbal communications
โข Must have one of the following: Network+, A+ or Security+ Certification
โข Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher
โข Previous computer technical support
โข Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
โข Proficient knowledge and understanding of Service Desk software and hardware technologies
