Overview
Travel MRI Technologist – MRI specialty in Watertown, New York. This 13-week travel assignment starts on 06/29/2026 with 40 guaranteed hours per week. The shift is primarily 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (8-hour days, 5 days per week) in a hospital setting. Compensation ranges from $2,695 to $2,938 per week. Assignment is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on adult and pediatric patients following established protocols.
- Position patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy during MRI procedures.
- Select and optimize MR imaging sequences and parameters to acquire diagnostic-quality images.
- Monitor patients during scans, respond to questions or concerns, and communicate findings with radiology staff as appropriate.
- Maintain MRI safety practices, screen for contraindications, and adhere to infection control and equipment safety policies.
- Document procedures and results, and assist with quality assurance and equipment maintenance as directed.
Requirements
- New York state license in Radiologic Technology (NY license) required.
- ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- One year of MRI experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology; ability to work in a hospital setting and maintain registries/licenses.
