Position Overview

The Broomfield Mental & Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Brick, New Jersey. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work in an outpatient office setting, providing you with the ability to deliver essential mental health services to our diverse client base. Work Environment

The work environment at Broomfield is uniquely flexible. Clinicians operate primarily through a remote setup, allowing you to conduct sessions via telehealth or in person at our clinic as per client needs. With operations running from 7 am to 10 pm seven days a week, you have the ability to set a schedule that aligns with your lifestyle while meeting our clients' demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored therapy strategies through individual and group therapy sessions, informed by each client's specific challenges and goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform the therapeutic approach, ensuring the most effective interventions are utilized.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, to guide client sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers—to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health treatment and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance misuse issues. You will have the opportunity to work with various populations including children, adolescents, adults, and families, making a significant impact on their emotional and mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Current and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling settings, providing therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to the practice of counseling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team to enhance client outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies to facilitate efficient practice management.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse.
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary clinic setting that focuses on integrated health care solutions.
  • Active engagement in mental health research or community outreach initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
