Position Overview

Growth Rescue Counseling Services is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and skilled mental health therapists to join our remote team. Work Environment

This remote role offers flexibility while demanding commitment and accountability to ensure our clients receive exceptional care. Communication with colleagues and supervisors will be facilitated through various digital platforms, including video conferencing, emails, and secure messaging systems, creating an interactive and engaging work environment. Our therapists work Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for scheduling flexibility based on patient needs and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand patients' emotional and psychological needs, ensuring tailored and effective treatment planning.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups aimed at improving understanding of mental health topics and providing shared experiences amongst participants.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to provide holistic care and share crucial patient information that informs treatment strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention services during urgent mental health episodes, assisting patients and families with immediate support and guidance.
• Educate patients on their conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain secure, accurate, and thorough documentation of counseling sessions, assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing case consultations and team meetings to continually enhance therapeutic practices and share valuable insights.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health therapy through participating in continuing education and attending relevant workshops or conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health challenges. We serve clients from all walks of life, including those facing severe conditions like bipolar disorder and substance abuse issues, as well as those looking to manage mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Our approach centers around personalized care, recognizing the unique experiences and backgrounds of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential to successfully assess and support our clients.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for engaging with clients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and delivering therapeutic services to diverse populations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for thorough documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy within a community health setting or outpatient clinic is preferred, particularly with populations facing socio-economic challenges.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care practices is advantageous.
• Background in leading group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops to enhance community mental health awareness is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization values our therapists and looks to reward their hard work with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000.
