Job Title: Sr. UI Designer Location-Type: Remote (East Coast or Central time zone preferred) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Month Contract Compensation Range: $66.00 - $69.00/hr Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking a Senior UI Designer to lead high-polish visual design and support design system buildout for a mobile-focused platform merging two applications into a unified, consumer-grade product experience. Job Summary •Design and deliver polished, consumer-grade UI across web and mobile surfaces, with a focus on modern, B2C-quality aesthetics •Drive mobile-first design for two applications currently being merged into a single unified product •Contribute to the buildout of a scalable design system, including Figma component libraries and reusable patterns •Design interfaces for LLM-powered chat and AI-assisted features, informed by contemporary AI product benchmarks •Collaborate closely with the UX/AI lead, who owns UX structure, while owning visual polish and UI execution •Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholders in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with minimal oversight •Participate in weekly design cadence including Monday kickoffs, Thursday close-outs, and Friday demo and ship reviews Minimum Requirements: •5 to 10 years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-polish, consumer-grade visual design •Mobile-first design experience, including native or responsive app design •Demonstrated ability to work independently and initiate stakeholder outreach without direction •Proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and component-based workflows •Background designing AI or LLM-powered product interfaces (chat, clinical, or assistant-style tools) Preferred Qualifications: •Experience building or contributing to a design system, including scalable Figma component libraries •Experience in healthcare or health technology products •Willingness to attend occasional onsite meetings a few times per year
