Job description
Great Minds is a high-growth, mission-driven organization focused on providing high-quality educational materials. The NetSuite Developer will design, build, and enhance custom solutions on the NetSuite ERP platform to support financial, sales, and operational processes, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.
• Build and enhance scripts, workflows, forms, and custom records to support financial, order-to-cash, and operational processes.
• Ensure custom solutions adhere to NetSuite best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and support integrations between NetSuite and upstream/downstream systems, including Salesforce and other enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with integration platform teams and vendors to ensure reliable, well-governed data exchange.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues related to data accuracy, timing, and system behavior.
• Partner with IT product managers, administrators, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical designs.
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions, identifying trade-offs and recommending scalable approaches.
• Support ERP roadmap initiatives and phased rollouts, including new modules and process enhancements.
• Perform unit testing and support system testing to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
• Monitor and optimize script performance and system behavior.
• Document technical designs, customizations, and support procedures to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Work closely with NetSuite administrators to support releases, upgrades, and environment management.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and simplify customizations over time.
• Stay current with NetSuite platform updates and emerging best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1+ years of experience developing on the NetSuite platform in a production enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience supporting core ERP processes, including financials, billing, and order-to-cash
• Experience integrating NetSuite with CRM and other enterprise systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex problems while collaborating across teams
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite customization frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Preferred:
• 3+ years of experience developing on the NetSuite platform in a production enterprise environment
• Experience with NetSuite implementations, major enhancements, or post-go-live optimization efforts
• Familiarity with integration platforms such as Workato
• Understanding of ERP controls, audit considerations, and data governance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
