Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary advocate for clients, assisting them in navigating community resources, social services, and support systems that enhance their overall quality of life.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to clients, prioritizing their safety and emotional stability during challenging situations.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with colleagues to coordinate comprehensive care, attending case conferences to discuss treatment strategies and outcomes.
  • Deliver psychoeducation to clients, focusing on coping skills, communication techniques, and self-care practices to empower them in their mental health journeys.
  • Participate actively in community outreach initiatives, building relationships with local resources to expand referral networks and strengthen community partnerships.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with clients in an outpatient setting, which may include children, adolescents, and adults facing a spectrum of emotional disturbances and psychosocial issues. You will be tasked with tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the varying needs of these individuals, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and valued in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Colorado.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; however, a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience in social work or a related field, preferably in an outpatient mental health setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to ethical and confidentiality standards in therapeutic practice.
  • Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in an outpatient mental health environment, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic modalities and client treatment strategies.
  • Background in crisis intervention and comprehensive case management.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and modern therapeutic approaches.
