Position

Goodwin seeks a highly qualified mid‑level associate to join our Financial Services practice in the Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling on consumer and small business financial products and services, including payments, credit, alternative lending arrangements (earned wage access, merchant cash advances, factoring), deposits, and payments.
  • Manage substantial components of projects independently.
  • Work collaboratively in teams.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations that apply to these products and services.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).
  • Ambitious with strong writing and oral presentation skills.
