SR. BLUE YONDER (JDA) WMS ENGINEER, IRVINE, CA
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively solves complex problems
  • Fixes and develops changes to Red Prairie WMS and WLM applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines
  • Analyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applications
  • Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assigned
  • Completes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of work
  • Engages with IT business systems analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications
  • Prepares technical documentation on application specifications
  • Creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation
  • Analyzes and resolves development issues in a timely manner
  • Works with minimal guidance; regularly participates in reviews of assigned and completed tasks
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; uses time efficiently; communicates activities and results as appropriate
  • Takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits feedback to improve service; meets commitments

Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or closely related field Plus 7 Years of Work experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.
Special Requirements: EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • 7+ years of programming, development and analysis with JDA (RedPrairie) WMS and WLM.
  • Development experience with JDA RedPrairie including JDA Integrator, MOCA, Page Builder, Jasper Reports and NiceLabel.
  • Experience developing and tuning WMS purge and archive jobs, processes and efficiencies including archive instance maintenance and job configuration.
  • Working knowledge of WMS EMS alerts, configuration and maintenance.
  • Monitor Red Prairie environments, review code/configuration promotion, change control, system refreshes and restores.
  • System console operations and monitoring experience.
  • System configuration setups and policy maintenance experience.

MUST POSSESS EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE SUFFICIENT TO ADEQUATELY PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB BEING OFFERED. EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE MAY BE GAINED THROUGH EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION. SUCH EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE CANNOT BE QUANTIFIED BY TIME.

Salary: $144,414 - $176,438 per year
