Job description

Description
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Front-End Development.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST, WebSocket, IPC, and modern web communication protocols.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and frontend-backend communication.
• Expertise with responsive web design and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn, and modern front-end toolchains.
• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Vuex, or similar.
• Hands-on experience building Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and cloud-native application development.
Requirements
• Implement application state management using Redux, Vuex, or equivalent frameworks.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and TV-platform compatibility.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Manage source code using Git and support automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Integrate applications with cloud services hosted on AWS and GCP, including serverless architectures.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in production environments.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology evaluations for web and TV platforms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Job responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build reusable UI components and front-end architectures that support scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize applications for Smart TVs, Connected TV (CTV) platforms, and streaming devices.
• Design, develop, and maintain Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs, backend microservices, and cloud-based platforms.
• Implement real-time communication features using HTTP, REST, WebSocket, IPC, and related web technologies.
• Develop mobile-first and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) with a focus on performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality user experiences.
• Utilize modern front-end build tools including Webpack, Babel, npm, and Yarn.
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Dallas, TX, to be $110,000 to $120,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
