Vice President, Global Financial Services - Public Healthcare Growth

The Vice President, Global Financial Services (Public Healthcare Growth) is a key commercial and people leadership role responsible for leading GLG's Public Healthcare Growth client segment within Financial Services. This leader will oversee a portfolio of strategic healthcare-focused investment clients, including public market investors, while driving commercial growth, strengthening executive client relationships, and leading high-performing client service teams.

This individual will partner closely with senior leadership to define commercial strategy, expand existing partnerships, and deliver an exceptional client experience across one of GLG's fastest-growing segments.

Geographic Focus

This is a global leadership role with oversight of clients and teams across the U.S. and Europe. Candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly to key GLG offices and client hubs, including New York, London, Boston, and San Francisco.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Leadership
  • Own commercial relationships across a multi-million-dollar portfolio of strategic Public Healthcare Growth accounts, driving renewals, expansion, and long-term client growth.
  • Develop and execute commercial account strategies that deepen client partnerships and increase GLG utilization across organizations.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor and executive sponsor.
  • Drive user adoption by identifying opportunities to expand engagement across investment teams and healthcare-focused users.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and proactively develop turnaround strategies for lower-activity or at-risk accounts.
  • Partner closely with New Business teams to onboard new clients and ensure an exceptional implementation and early engagement experience.
  • Champion GLG's full suite of products and capabilities, identifying opportunities to introduce new solutions that address evolving client needs.
  • Stay informed on healthcare investment trends and client priorities to proactively position GLG's expertise and capabilities.

People Leadership
  • Lead and develop Managers responsible for multiple client service teams, building a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, coaching, collaboration, and commercial excellence.
  • Oversee performance management across teams while reinforcing GLG's service standards and commercial expectations.
  • Lead onboarding, learning, and ongoing development initiatives to strengthen client service delivery and commercial effectiveness.
  • Partner with Client Segment leadership on organizational planning, hiring strategy, resource allocation, and capacity management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Operations, Product, Technology, and Commercial leadership to successfully launch new products and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, client experience, and team effectiveness.

The Ideal CandidateExperience
  • Significant experience managing strategic client relationships, enterprise accounts, or commercial portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success leading revenue growth, renewals, and account expansion within complex client organizations.
  • Proven people leader with 5+ years of experience developing managers and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience in client service, account management, customer success, consulting, healthcare, financial services, or related industries.
  • Experience working with sophisticated institutional clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of leading organizational change while improving commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of an organization.
