ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

1. Specializes in operating Boring Mill machine used in making and maintaining jigs, fixtures or gages.

1. Planning and performing operations which require complicated setups or a high degree of accuracy.

1. Determine proper feeds, speeds, tooling and operation sequence or select those prescribed in drawing, blueprints or layouts using a variety of precision measuring instruments.

1. Plans and lays out work according to blueprints, drawings or other written or oral instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The skill level in this classification requires extensive knowledge of machine-shop practice usually acquired through considerable on-the-job training.
SKILLS

• High degree of mechanical aptitude and design skills from prints and drawings.
• Ability to work independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
