Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to accurately identify their mental health needs and devise tailored treatment strategies.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions using innovative techniques that foster personal development and emotional healing.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and monitor their progress, adapting interventions as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Provide accessible teletherapy solutions that enhance treatment for clients who face mobility challenges or prefer remote options.
• Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of sessions to comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay informed of the latest therapeutic methodologies in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and addiction. You will not only support adults but also work with adolescents and families, facilitating healthy communication and conflict resolution practices. By utilizing a strengths-based approach, you will empower clients to build resilience and strive for long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients through superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit a strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting working with diverse populations is preferred.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote therapeutic modalities is desirable, as this role primarily involves virtual client engagement.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams can enhance your contributions to client treatment plans and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
