Position Overview

Genesis Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Counselor to join our team remotely. This full-time position is designed for an accomplished Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with extensive experience in mental health care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and challenges.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, setting specific goals that will guide therapeutic progress.
• Administer both group and one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to the client's unique circumstances.
• Supervise and guide therapeutic activities, ensuring they align with treatment objectives and best practices.
• Document and monitor patient progress in compliance with clinic policies, maintaining detailed intake and treatment records.
• Provide 24-hour support and supervision for clients when necessary, ensuring a safe and constructive therapeutic environment.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness and support for various patient demographics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will encounter a diverse range of clients, including youth facing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your ability to create rapport and establish trust will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges. An emphasis on culturally competent care will ensure that you respect and understand the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required, along with a current LPC license to practice in Colorado.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed professional counselor, including supervised practice.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders to effectively develop and conceptualize treatment plans.
• Skilled in building and maintaining constructive working relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with youth populations, particularly in addressing issues of trauma and emotional disturbances.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and documentation systems that enhance patient interaction and care coordination.
• Experience in community health settings, contributing positively to patient outcomes and program development.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to help you settle into your new role and establish your practice within our organization.
