Real Estate Associate - Full-time

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in real estate law.

  • Juris Doctorate degree.

  • Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word.

  • Advanced legal research and technical writing skills, including proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Practical Law.

  • Strong academic and employment credentials.

  • Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Good interpersonal interaction skills.

  • Well-organized with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proven track record of performance.

Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of real estate issues, including acquisition, ownership, disposition, financing, development, and leasing.

  • Address legal questions regarding land use and zoning matters, restrictive covenants, and more.

  • Facilitate real estate and loan closings.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase and sale agreements, easements, developer agreements, and other documents related to real estate transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex real estate issues.

  • Collaborate with the internal real estate team and clients to ensure successful completion of real estate deals.
