This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. • Direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve, and restore muscle function effectively, adhering to individualized care plans.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants in implementing therapy protocols to ensure consistency and quality in patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities using clinical tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint performance.
• Assess home environments to provide recommendations that enhance patient independence and safety.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical agents such as traction and massage to support recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians, ensuring the utmost patient comfort and usability.
• Document clinical assessments, progress updates, and discharge plans, maintaining accurate records in compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
• Actively participate in case conferences to develop and refine comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy practices and effective use of medical equipment.
• Remain accessible to supervise assistants, ensuring guidelines are followed and the highest standards of care are maintained.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for thorough documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices supported by research.

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting, particularly with home healthcare services.
• A background in treating a variety of conditions, enabling adaptability to diverse patient needs.
• Previous supervisory experience with physical therapy assistants or other healthcare staff.

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
