What you can expect as a Claims Trainer:

  • Exemplify professional and ethical behavior.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and claims personnel to identify training needs and recommend solutions for greater efficiency and improved claim handling.
  • Create, develop, and deliver effective training utilizing various written and verbal methods and materials including but not limited to presentations, video job aids, PowerPoints, Workflows, coaching, mentoring and other educational materials.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating training materials to accurately reflect current/relevant practices and regulations.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training on claims processes, systems, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and other topics.
  • Provide feedback on curriculum and learner engagement/comprehension to promote consistency of claim handling.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and compliance with Company procedures, claim related statutes, insurance regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Deliver high level customer service for our internal and external partners.
  • Overnight travel and/or extended work hours beyond regular business hours may be required, including weekends, holidays, during a catastrophe response and/or as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


What we are looking for as a Claims Trainer:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in property and casualty claims
  • Claims Trainer experience is preferred
  • Field claim handling experience is preferred
  • If residing in a state where an adjuster license is required, must maintain Designated Home State license in good standing at all times.
  • Must maintain adjuster license in all non-resident states where Frontline operates and an adjuster license is required.
  • Must obtain required adjuster license in new states commensurate with company expansion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills in one-on-one and group settings
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Skilled in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and XactContents; knowledge in the use of Guidewire is beneficial
  • Knowledge and understanding of Company procedures, claim processes, claim related statutes, insurance regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Strong comprehension of policy contracts and proper application of policy coverages
  • Self-motivated and adaptable
