We're looking for a self-starter with attention to detail to join our team. Reportingto the Assistant Director of Finance, you'll further your finance experience byassisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports,overseeing daily operation of the accounting department activities and internalcontrol procedures ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and localregulations.

ABOUT THE PARAMOUNT

Paramount Hotel is a New York City landmark located just steps from TimesSquare. Constructed in the French Renaissance style by Thomas W. Lamb in 1927,the building reflects the theatrical character of its neighborhood. The bustleof the street disappears as you step inside - with its two-story lobby,reflective fireplace, dramatic lighting, and rich textures, it sets the stagefor a hip, indulgent experience. Recently updated but retaining its historicalcharm, the Paramount Hotel is standing out - as the only hotel near BroadwayNYC with genuine personality.

Kind of a "no brainer" to take this iconic hotel with us on our Generatorjourney. While making sure to keep itsrich character - we are giving it the best parts of our Generator DNA in orderto transform this into a social driven, loud and welcoming community hot spot(with some kick-ass parties & events, of course).

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Excellent interpersonal and communication experience, bothverbal & written
• Must be highlyorganized and well versed in completing paperwork
• Will be anexcellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Prepare, record, and process accounts payable andcash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts
• Prepare allocation tables for indirect expenses andrevenue items as needed
• Maintains required records, reports, and files inan organized manner.
• Gathers pertinent data pertaining to inventories,accounts payable accruals, and any other information necessary to preparerelevant journal entries
• Review credit card refunds to ensure legitimaterefunds
• Other duties asassigned by management
• Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for accountsreceivable, cash receipts, accounts payable and cash disbursements
• Review open invoice reports and follow up with a schedule ofpayments or adjustments
• Assist with the year-end financial audit
• Responds to questions from managers and employees.
• Attends meetings as necessary
